Hans Zimmer signs a 3rd Spitfire library
The percussive collection produced by Hans Zimmer for Spitfire now includes a third volume which is dedicated to solo percussions.
HZ03 - London Solos is a 13GB library featuring 17 151 samples in 24-bit with solo percussions recorded at the Air Studios with 96 rare microphones, Neve Montserrat preamps and a Neve 88R console, and then mixed by Hans Zimmer, Geoff Foster and Alan Meyerson.
You’ll find very diverse percussions such as buckets, snares, trombek, dohl, surdu, etc. played with various articulations (hits, flams, rolls). Each instrument and articulation has up to 9 round robins and 6 velocity layers. You’ll also find in the library mixes prepared by the three stooges with the multiple mic perspective (9 and a tenth from Hans Zimmer that will come soon).
HZ03 - London Solos is available for the introductory price of £149 instead of £199 until November 14th. Note that it is compatible with the Free Kontakt Player 5. You can listen to audio demos at www.spitfireaudio.com.
