IK Multimedia finally opens the reservation of SampleTank 3, the release of the new version of the sampler is scheduled in July…
SampleTank 3 is now referenced on the IK Multimedia website, and you can pre-order your licence for 199.99€ if you don’t own version 2. The upgrade from SampleTank 2 XL or Miroslav Philharmonik is available for 79.99€ ad IK Multimedia has a crossgrade offer for those who already a product of the brand (119.99€).
SampleTank 3 offers 33GB of sounds, including 4000 new instruments organized in 21 categories, as well as 2500 drum kits and percussions, more than 2000 MIDI files and 55 effects.
The GUI is organized in 3 spaces:
Play allows for sampling instruments on 16 tracks and includes a MIDI player/mixer
Mix where you’ll mix in multichannel with 5 insert effects per channel, 4 stereo return effects (each with 5 insert effects) and a master channel that can host 5 insert effects
Edit offers 3 sample engines, 10 types of filter and 8 macro controls
SampleTank 3 allows for triggering round robins and articulations via keyswitches, modulation wheel or velocity. Last, a new Live mode helps you organize your sound for easier use in live.
