Installation is simple and hassle free.
No problem.
The manual is quite clear and the issues most relevant forum Steinberg is very satisfactory.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
My PC: P4 3 GHz, Intel motherboard Rocklake, HD 80 GB S-ATA, M-audio card OmniStudio, Edirol USB Midi.
Halion works very well and is very stable. When released in its version 3.0, there were stability problems (note stuck, crash etc ...). But since version 3.1, nothing to say, it is solid as a rock. From the perspective of performance, depending on the hardware used, but in my setup, nothing to say, I'm not arrive has its limits.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for about a year and this is my main instrument vst.
The sound library comes with is very good and makes a good start without having to jog immediately after the samples. The possibilities of this sampler are very varied and quite simple to be implemented.
In short, it's a pretty good tool comfortable to use.
If it again I think I buy it.
