Strezov Sampling introduces Macabre Solo Strings, a new string sample library for Kontakt that focuses on emotional music.
Strezov Sampling explains that they were inspired by Camille St Saëns’ Danse Macabre to create this dark, lyrical and emotional solo string library. They recorded the first violin, viola and cello in their respective position in the orchestra in the Sofia Session Studio.
Features:
- 2 mic positions (close and far)
- 2 types of long True legato (legato and portamento)
- One patch per instrument, the legato style is triggered by velocity
- Instrument note ranges: G3-G5 for the violin, C3-C5 for the viola and G2-G4 for the cello
- Non processed samples
Macabre Solo Strings requires the full version of Kontakt 5.3 and later. The library is available for the introductory price of $149 until May 31st, regular price will then be $179. You can listen to demos at www.strezov-sampling.com.
