« a good buy »

The Andreas Ersson Polylblit is a vintage synth that can still be used in todays music depending on what type of music you are into or that you create. There are a lot of vintage sounding synths , modules and vst’s that come out all the time and its hard to tell which ones are good before you have to purchase them because most of them down offer demo or trial versions but I will say that If you invest in the it you wont be upset with your decision (as long as you are into vintage sounds). don’t purchase it thinking you are going to get some up to date stuff that some of the other synths..

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Setting up was pretty quick, I didn’t have some small issues with it taking a really long time to load up and open , also it can get a little slow when running more versions of it at the same time in the same song. If that happends I generally just track out the sequence and import it back in in .wav format then I can get ride of some of the vst’s running.

OVERALL OPINION

The sounds are great, nice and vintage it was exactly what I was looking for at the time. I still use it here and there but not all the time just because I don’t want to use vintage sounds in some of my work. Which is always the problem, do you want to invest in a vintage module if you arent going to use it that much? But its always good to have on hand and it will come in handy sometimes. I am glad that I have this and will always keep it in my plug ins and pull it out when I need it. I just had the load time, but it only loads slow maybe 25 percent of the times that I used it, it could be a different plug in causing it to load slow.
