Benoit Serrano offers a stripped-back version of its Horus virtual synth, called Selena, which is still free and in VST format for Windows.

Selena focuses on string sounds only and features the following:

  • 32-voice polyphony
  • 2-octave string range
  • Phaser
  • Delay
  • Stereo: note placement in the stereo fields is handled by the key tracking ; lows are on the left and highs on the right
  • MIDI Learn

You can download Selena for free from bserrano.free.fr.
