    nice vst

I have been using Poizone 2 since I discovered it was in my version of FL Studio automatically. After just looking for new sounds scrolling through all of the vst’s I saw this one and opened it up. It was only DEMO mode though but I was still able to mess around with it then it would go silent (because it was demo). But just after messing around with it for about a hour and knew that I was going purchase it sooner or later . So as soon as I had the money I went to image lines website logged into my account and purchased Poizone 2.

    SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

After purchasing there was no installation because I already had the software installed it just needed to register so I had to do that and it only took a few seconds and it was out of demo mode. Demo mode and full mode are pretty much the same difference is that you can save your work with the full mode. Demo mode you cant save and it will go silent on you every minute or so. But getting use to Poizone wasn’t too hard it was a lot like Biohazard.

    OVERALL OPINION

Sounds are really ambient and clean. Some of the basses arent that good to me. I wish they had some more saw type basses and less wobbly basses. But the Syths leads arps and sound effects are great. You can had so many different effects to everything right on board. Plus it has a built in arp panel so you can arp pretty much anything right in Poizone 2 and you don’t have to do it from the channel in Fl Studio. I am anxious for PoiZone 3 to come out so hopefully its soon. The price is affordable , so if you are looking for something clean to start using that will give you some good synths this is the way to go. Keep in mind it has been out for a while though .

    Great arps..

This vst came with Fl Studio, and I wasn't impressed with the sounds, because I like bigger fuller and moer thick sounds. Poizone 2 is more just synths, so I used it for just that. I have used this plug in on a ton of different projects that I have done. It has some great nice Arps and some great synth leads to make your song stand out. Since this came with Fl Studio, I have had no issues with it. It came as a DEMO version and I decided to purchase the license and give it a shot. I am very happy with my choice. It runs great with FL Studio and I have experienced no crashes.

    SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

PoiZone 2 didn’t come with a manual, in my version of FL Studio. But the program is pretty much self explanatory. It comes with presets and you can manipulate them very easy with the knobs and sliders on the interface. Manipulating and changing the parameters’ of these sounds in PoiZone 2 are much easier than they are in other programs and vst’s. Just open this program up and start creating and editing sounds. It used very low cpu which is great when running several copies of it at the same time in case you want to use multiple sounds in the same project. PoiZone 2 seems to flow perfectly with FL Studio and as no compatibility issues.

    OVERALL OPINION

I am extremely happy with my purchase of PoiZone 2 , I didn’t have a chance to try PoiZone 1 but two makes me wish I did. Great high quality leads and synths in this program. PoiZone 2 is definitely a sleeper. I am not to sure many people outside of the FL Studio community are aware of PoiZone 2. Its definitely affordable and worth the try.

    My favourite VST for leads.

This VST came with my copy of FL studio, so there was no issues with installation as it was already with it. The general layout of the VST is very simple to browse through presets, but the actual layout on the GUI can be confusing. Lots of the knobs and dials go unexplained on the screen and you have to literally play with them to make any sense of what they do. This VST also works well with Ableton Live and I have no doubt would work flawlessly with any other.

    SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

    SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

This VST works flawlessly. It is one hundred percent stable and has never been the cause of any crashes or errors. The load time of the presets is speedy and near instant. The only problem I have with preset selection is the menu window that opens up when you go through. I prefer the traditional browser selection method in VST's. I have been using this VST ever since I bought FL Studio. The CPU load of this VST is seemingly light too as it has never pushed either of my computers (1.8ghz pentium & a 2.5ghz core 2 quad).

    OVERALL OPINION

This VST is brilliant for lead synths in my opinion. It is one of my favourite VST's for lead sounds that feature distortion but still sound smooth. They sound brilliant in any RNB or Hip Hop song. The VST also has a nice range of pads and atmosphere sounds for the backdrop. The key sounds however do not really get anything done and really sound like filler sounds. I do not like the way presets are selected though and the actual GUI. They would be the only problems I have with it. Knowing what I know now, I would still get this VST if it didn't come with FL as the leads are stunning and play a hugely important part in my music.
