The Synapse Audio Junglist is a vst that is no longer available so if you don’t have it already you will have to jump through all types of hoops just to get your hands on it. It is a 2 oscillator with 32 waveforms and fine tune synth. There is also a Multimode filter that I love and high pass and low pass filters with seperation control.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Installing it was one of the easiest that you will ever have, its very quick and not that big of a file at all. As long as you type in your serial number correctly then you will be able to use it in no time at all. You wont even need a manual to operate it if you are use to using some of oscillator synths. But if you don’t have any knowledge on how to work with oscillators than this could be a issue for you.

OVERALL OPINION

The sounds are good, but I think the effects are better and worth talkin about. It has a in depth chorus that has delays flanges and a bunch of pass filters and distortion effects. You can even have the vst support after touch with your midi keyboard as long as you know how to set up the after touch and sensitivity within your daw with your midi keyboard then Junglist will sync right with that after touch and you can really get expressive with your work. Not all vst’s will support after touch so this is a plus.

The quality of this virtual instrument is a little better than average and the price is low. So you really don’t have much of a risk when buying it. Its not like it takes a large investment. If you cant find this anywhere online look into Hydra. I am pretty sure that’s what has replaced the Junglist.
