The Boss VE-2 Vocal Harmonist can be powered by 4 AA batteries or external supply, so you can us it everywhere. Along with reverb and delay effects, the harmonizer will add backing vocals to your lead voice in real time. The harmonies are based on the chords you play on the guitar, a fixed tone programmed in advanced or even both. 24 harmonies are available, ranging from 1 to 12 voices, each with 2 variations.
The VE-2 includes a dynamics enhancer and a pitch correction tool in real time and you can store up to three presets in the internal memory.
The connection panel on the unit includes an XLR microphone input with phantom power, 1/4” guitar in and thru, XLR output, 1/8” headphone output, 1/4” Variation jack and you can record directly to you computer via the USB port.
Full details of the VE-2 Vocal Harmonist are available at http://www.boss.info. Following are a presentation of the device at Musikmesse 2014 and the official trailer.
