SmartVL was initially develop so that user can remotely control PowerPoint presentations. Its French developer deflected this feature to remotely control the VoiceLive 2 processor.
This specific version, called SmartVL2, installs on a Windows-based computer or tablet with Java and allows via, a USB connection, for changing effects in sync with the sound played, play WAV and MIDI files according to your presets and steps, send commands (solo, mute) and MIDI meta messages.
And with the built-in wireless feature, SmartVL2 can be remotely controlled via a presenter.
The GUI features two layers, one with the control settings and the other that reflects what’s displayed the current selection on the VoiceLive 2.
SmartVL2 is available for the special introductory price of 29.99 € until the end of June (that’s a 25% discount) and you can download a trial version from www.smartvl.com. Note that the developer is working on a version that would add support for the TC-Helicon VoiceLive Rack and VoiceLive Touch editions.
