Published on 07/13/12 at 17:09This pedal is quite unique, it features a speech processor, a multi-effects, a looper and a USB audio interface for recording computer easily.
Everything is editable and customizable in every detail and for once the factory presets are already a great showcase the capabilities of the machine.
Of course, some effects are highly oriented but again these are only presets, each has to create its own sounds.
This is tampering with the beast that draws the best.
I use it with an expression pedal that provides a few possibilities.
UTILIZATION
Setup is simple, the interface is nice and everything is simple and accessible.
The manual is essential to understand, however, some internal routing or some such settings.
Once the logic in hand, while rolling and setting possibilities are immense.
Use in pop, rock, electro, hip-hop is a bomb you can get all the effects imaginable.
Rythmic section is pure killing for experimentations and weird stuff. This video is a good illustration
SOUND QUALITY
The effects are very good especially the harmonies that are incredibly realistic.
I use it with an electro acoustic guitar as well as electrical, Voicelive 2 follows the guitar and sticks to the voice is stunning.
The rendering is very professional, it seems to be in a big studio with good sound engineers.
As always with such a device, you spend a lot of time to adjust but it's worth it.
OVERALL OPINION
Used daily for 2 months is that of happiness.
Having such a record is really comfortable and easier to sing.
The sound recordings confirm the product quality is dynamic and natural.
A little flat for me, when the signal returns to his guitar to his amp, it cuts out the guitar Voicelive 2. We can not have fun with the guitar and the looper but only with the voice, it's a shame.
Also note the power transformer which does not inspire confidence in a product of this award, an internal power supply would have been preferable.
Aside from that, this is an excellent product with excellent build quality, robust and with regular firmware for an acceptable price.
I will ever be the same choice without any hesitation.
