Introducing the new VoiceTone Harmony-G XT, a speech processor format professional pedal.
We put the best of its big brother the VoiceLive 2, in the form of improved natural harmonies, and reverb.
The Harmony-G XT will now be your favorite vocal effect, on stage and in studio, with or without guitar ...
Natural vocal harmonies further improved, driven with your simple guitar accompaniment
New studio-quality reverb, delay and combinations of effects from the Voice Live 2
Selection of four different styles of voice dubbing stereo (two votes in addition to yours)
The effects presets reworked control opportunities following musical styles
USB: updates, backup presets, access to software with tips ... VoiceSupport
Harmony Gate adaptive Tone added to further clarify the tone of voice
Direct manual selection of the key and the range for employment without guitar (singing, but also brass!)
The features that made the Harmony-G a real success among musicians:
Real-time analysis on guitar and voice to automatically reproduce vocal harmonies
Tone feature lightens the tone of voice, the tools with "automated" a sound engineer -
8 combinations of reverb, delay and modulation μmod to apply to the voice (and reverb on guitar)
10 memories (presets), each with two variations, A and B
The harmonies include Third and Fifths (upper and lower), upper and lower octaves, and the effect Bass single.
True studio-quality microphone preamplifier (XLR
Configurable output in a choice of stereo or mono (XLR)
The guitar signal is measurable, sharing the reverb, and has its own direct output to power amp or PA system.
Also includes a fast and accurate guitar tuner.
The VoiceTone Harmony-G XT comes with its external power supply (12 V / 0.4 A), a USB cable and a CD-ROM with software and manual VoiceSupport.
UTILIZATION
The pedal is very good at manufacturing and connectivity, the switch at the base are easy to enable / disable.
The French manual is pretty clear except for the part setting of the tone that I did not seem the most obvious.
SOUND QUALITY
The quality is not bad at all but do not overdo the effects on pain of having a small print of synthetic voice in the harmonies.
The averages are also reverb I prefer to use those on my Jam 150 more, the echo on the other hand is pretty good.
Shame not be able to store the mix level of effects (reverb, echo) and harmonies that would surely be a plus.
The tuner is average for the guitar and I prefer my old Seiko electronic tuner who is 20 and that simpler and more accurate.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had one week and am starting to enjoy myself with, for a single musician
it's nice to send third and fifths with this little box.
A small trial live on June 21 may be completed to convince me definitively.
