The capsule ME2 is the same as the EW series.
Outside it passes nickel.
If you are lucky enough to have kit that work on both frequency ranges, have proposed can work with a kit simultaneously!
However, beware of cables and adapters in the usual range Sennheiser they are not compatible with the freeport handheld transmitter! (Cl1-Cl2 or No)
the minijack freeport takes the signal on the tip of uniquemant minijack, and the mass on the rings, which is not true of other cables "hack" for sennheiser ew series. cons by the headset microphone works great nickel!
