Biggest Ever Audio Mixing Contest is ON!
Got the Princeton 65 (PR403) as I was put-off by all the hype-crap of over-priced designer boom-boxes (like Beats) and needed a quick amp for my keyboard. Now before you guitarist begin to whine, allow me to validate why you should read the review. As a longtime studio/live, sound engineer, the objective was to test (using Neutrik analyzers) how...
No, I probably wouldn't buy it again.
I love everything about this amp, except for the fact that the speaker output jacks on the back of the head are very fragile, mine broke and made the amp unusable for a short time until i can find out if B-52 can send me another jack.
I like the sound of it. it was given to me, but I would hunt one down if I lost this one, I would probably have to pay around $400. to get one used on ebay todays prices. we have had almost every kind of preamp in here you can think of. I like this one because it sounds good and it's simple. It's not loaded with effects and it wont sound like a ...
I like this amp a lot. I've used another combo amp for the last five years and will now be using this amp as my working amp. I paired the amp head with a WGS Veteran 30 in a cab and I love it! The head is easy to carry at around 27 LBS, beautifully crafted at a great value. The guys in the band said they were impressed with the new sound, the ba...
It is a lovely high quality hand built point to point piece of art with obvious care and precision built in. I love everything about this amp and I expect it to last forever the way it is built. Customer service is the best I have ever experienced.
The very first thing I noticed about this amp is the high quality of the build and attention to detail put into this Luker amplifier. The controls have a smooth and tight feel, the tube sockets are high quality Belton and hold the tubes tight. It has a Tesla designed Toroidal power transformer that barley even gets warm after an all nighter at h...
i love how big the sound is from the size of amp very clean.
I do prefer to use the DT25 over the DT50 212 because it is more portable and the sound is relatively the same to me. This unit cost a lot more than the DT25 (of course) but it will save you a back ach in the long run. Even the MKII sounds pretty good and it pretty portable as well. I do not think the DT50 212 is for me because of the price an...
There is nothing about this pedal I do not like and the only thing I could find to improve on it would be a fourth switch to engage a tube, but I have tube based units and more things could ruin what I consider to be one of the most valuable pedals in my collection. Definitaly a desert island unit if you get my drift. This pedal may seem a tou...
