Value For Money : Excellent
The CH-1 is an analog chorus everything from classic. Submitted to the pedals like all Boss pedals, it includes a footswitch, one from Jack, two outputs, and 4 knobs. These knobs are: effect level (sensitivity), EQ, Rate and Depth. Basically, nothing very original, but, as often in Boss, nothing is missing either of the ct l.

UTILIZATION

4 knobs, even someone who does not know anything that turn them (take turns) in all directions in order to understand the usefulness. I had this hand pedals, so I do not have the manual, which I can confirm that it can be redundant ...

SOUND QUALITY

The CH-1 is a simple chorus, like other opinions have indicated dj. This chorus lgrement color the sound of the guitar, without it being EXAGRES and embellishes the sound. For psych effects it will go elsewhere, but if like me you use a number of effects (LGERS) simultanment to get the sound you want has always been this chorus is for you.
I personally use this permanently with a Strat USD. Although sr, all sounds much better on Vox AC15 Marshall on MG100DFX (not got one question). I use rglages trslgers do not Exceeds half of the race of each knob, and the chorus as well as my lightweight embellishes its clear that my sound saturated.
Only small BMOL: this somewhat Reduces the attack, which can make the sound a bit fluffy. That said, increasing the level of attack on a coupled compressur is a simple solution this problem, and I am sr there are others ...

edit: finally, yes and no. The chorus of better quality puff a little under attack when same.
To return to the sound, I reconnatre I use it only trs little, this pedals, finally. I do not think the chorus is my favorite effect, but I have tried other that had nothing to envy CH1.

Edit 18/06/2011: we say, bullshit, sometimes. The sudden increase of the attack with a comp ', it is good, that the!
I always use the CH1 sparingly, but it handy to have a chorus cheap and reliable under the foot. As against the effect, like the rest, sounds much better since I swapped the one against Marshall Koch Studiotone ...

OVERALL OPINION

I use the pedals for 2 months. I like his discrtion, I'm not sure if it gnre of breath or not, my pedalboard includes a noise gate .. The chorus is simple, even if we can play with rglages extreme. I prfre the CH-1 Chorus at all in the same brand. While this is not the same effects, but it parat me much less cold. Boss pedals and not cold, even when it is not usual trs ...
I bought the pedals used on Ebay for 35 euros, including postage. At this price the quality-price report is excellent, 45-50 euros, is also a good deal trs. I got mine for less because I do not t looking at the state of painting (vintage effect guaranteed!). I highly recommend the pedals, while advising you to get an ide-even by you. In any case, if the mine lchait me, I try other curiosities in it is likely that I finish with the same hands.

Edit:
I always possde the pedals. But I do not use sparingly. Start on a clean sound, I like. Distortion is not great in my taste. This is a good choice for discovering this opportunity. If I keep it is that I did not want to invest in another chorus. For now ...

Edit 18/06/2011: not blowing a good effects loop. As my little rflexions on Boss pedals, I've always 6 or 7, then, well ...
