It's a BOSS distortion pedal. The ancestor of the MT-2.
4 knobs: "Level" (volume), "Low" (Bass), "High" (Trebble) and "Dist" (gain).
1 input, 1 output.
Design similar to that of the MT-2. Very strong, like all B0SS.
Powered by 9V battery or AC power.

Anyway ... classic

UTILIZATION

Simple config (just 4 knobs), but its interesting to find, we must still spend a few minutes (by adjusting the amp in mm tps).
I bcp is low, a little - to acute. Gain, it depends what I want to play.

SOUND QUALITY

Disto very powerful.
I do not like the sound when attempting an overdrive ... It seems to me to "fade" and "synthetic".
I advise you to tune your guitar so low, so as to obtain a sound + incisive and serious.
Sustain excellent, thanks to the pedal.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 5 months. Very solid.
I do not like his lack of versatility.
I tested an MT-2, an MD-2. The Hyper-Metal was much - much ... and she defended a lot (again, the problem is the versatility of the pedal).
Price / quality ratio very interesting, especially now that it is + made, so the bargain price in a private one shot!
So now that I have the V-AMP2, affects more than I do, so I sold it, but I do not regret having purchased.
Pedal perfect for death / black metal, but for hardcore / grind p0nk!
(See neo-metal groups ... it depends ...)
