UTILIZATION
- Great shape, but not easy stacking. It takes a little space when everything is connected (between a guitar, two outputs to sound card or amp, a headphones output, a one MIDI IN MIDI OUT): it looks like a big red spider pose on the desktop. The Pod Pro is more convenient to the ct but if you do not need sound numrique output or XLR Pod Pro, made more expensive.
- Great, lots of buttons. But they often have two uses, the following configuration: Signalta them is insufficient. Fortunately the manual is well done (but you must then open the manual, and I'm the guitar, so no top ...)
- The effects are correct, and few rglages and their combinations are limited

But for more flexibility, I think buying a quality multi-effects (rack!) To connect between my PC and Pod. I will use longer than the accumulation amp Pod part, that in which he excels.
SOUND QUALITY

Purists will always find fault, but I think the Pod is enough for me (yet?).
My use prfre: with SoundDiver software.
I'm lazy: I rcupr its libraries on the net (and there for every taste). I take the sounds m'intressent, I put my sauce, I save them for recall when I please. We then have more opportunities than the patches of memory is available Pod: Obviously you must be a branch on a computer but as I do!
OVERALL OPINION
I use the Pod to play on the PC. My sound card is out of the chain back on Hi-Fi and I dfie anyone DCEL the absence of guitar amp. Finally, a good electric guitar sound on PC! And besides, it's Stereo!
Why buy the Pod plutt one of its clones? For me it's the Internet community and its activity (or activism) that made the Difference: forums, libraries Sons offers, FAQ ...). So it's good especially if you have a computer.
On a fawn gnrale, the computer is more useful to use the Pod at best, even if use in stand alone is that by which we begin all, and when m I trs cool.
Finally the price. For a direct box, it's expensive. For the accumulation of all the amps on offer is a gift.
If the price put you off again with the release of the Pod XT, will have the opportunity in the air!
In the end, good little box.
