2-Channel Mixer from Allen & Heath belonging to the Xone series

Comprehensive connectivity for the price (master XLR, RCA monitor with adjustable gain, Record RCA, XLR microphone, fx loop)

HIPASS filter / lopass + button to the choice of Q.

cue by knob mix (very handy!)

no crossfader reverse, suddenly not suitable for scratch, but it's not the point here.

UTILIZATION

very simple, it is taken in hand soon. everything is very well placed. compared with the xone 32 she fell immediately at hand and is much more readable. honestly, I have not been packed by 32 and that's not counting the price difference.

SOUNDS

EQ fairly linear filter really great. Good headroom and not much wind.
bargraph really screwed up: channel or master (similar to cue) with 3 colors: green (strongest) blue (good!) red (not good!)

compared with a DJM400 is much more pleasant to grip and it really sends the dough on a big front!

Having the hands Korg KM-202, Numark 5000FX, Pioneer DJM400/DJM600, Eclerc Nuo 2, Amix RMC 35 ... for the price, the Xone 22 is really worth.

OVERALL OPINION

Two negative points:
assemble a little cheap caps fader. They stand in fairly easily. are ways to better secure them, but it is rather to A & H to do the production ...

The filter is a big "click" if it engages on a kick or snare. it's just a habit, do not trigger a peak.

other than that, this mixer sounds great, is cheap and is very well thought out. to see over time ...
