UTILIZATION
The table is very simple and intuitive to use, comfortable in many developed (along the faders, buttons pleasant, the table is well spaced), but for me it is really disturbing for some points those who like to mix in the headphones.
When you want to spend listening to a channel to another quickly the headphone volume is high overcharged. Then if you go to listen to two songs simultaneously in the headphone volume down by half automatiquement.Ca I do not like at all.
Finally, if we pass the cue to the master, boom, is an impressive gain in volume in the headphones.
In short, mix in the headphones with so many changes of volumes is not nice and not easy.
Another unpleasant thing but it is still a matter of taste, and the two volume buttons (gain) are too sensitive. In other words, put the gain knob at minimum, there is simply no sound going out. I use quite often the volume buttons to suddenly increase the volume of a song and decrease the volume of another song. do this with so sensitive buttons is not easy.
We can compare it to mix with a pitch instead of 16 +8, it is possible but we can not love or lose the marks.
SOUNDS
Since the release of this table, I hear mostly about the authentic sound of this table. As someone said to AF, is the best way anyway to test a mixer. I mix of Trance and progressive sound that comes out like it at all. Yet Youtube videos with the Xone I listened.
I usually listen to my MP3 directly and after a few weeks to listen to the mixes made with these songs. I did the same with the Xone and sound that comes out is too different from the original, far too different. Some people like songs if there was a great salon chains surround 90s. Probably a matter of taste but I like that between the song and listened without editing what comes out of the mixer there is not too much difference.
I mix with a soft place for CD's or perhaps the difference lies.
OVERALL OPINION
I thoroughly tested for 7 days and I listen to the recording for two weeks to get an idea. To give me an idea of comparison, I made some even sets my Vestax VMC 002.
Most
* The table is very well organized and large overcharged for 2 channel.
* It is visually stunning.
* Filter, very nice
* Two headphone outputs, but rarely use anyway nice.
Least
- I do not like the sound at all but the tastes and colors.
- Management of headphones, the volume changes depending on the configuration is very destabilizing and not pleasant for those who mix in their headphones.
- The gain button is far too effective but again is a matter of taste.
So it's a great mixer but I hang at all. Matter of taste
Before that I had a table JB systems (what horror) an IMG Stageline (a disaster) and a VMC 002. I stay home for now even though my previous Vestax table dropped after two years of service.
I hang
