I was looking for a compact table of professional quality with reasonable price effects. I opt for the Pioneer trusting the brand. CHARACTERISTICS equivalent but lower price, there are only Numark offering comparable products in the SERIES DXM, but I have doubts about the long-term quality rel. I speak not even Behringer
UTILIZATION
The table size is very compact, well finished trs.
The faders have a very good linear curve, the knobs are prcis, for damages against, they are not rubber but of hard plastic that is not enjoyable to touch trs. In addition, they are closer plutt trs the thickness of two fingers is not between two knobs.
The headphone costs at handling simple, despite the lack of function "prmix" there against by the breath (I use the excellent Sennheiser HD-25).
The meters: one voice, two voices, master, are easy to read a big plus over the old table that I used (Stanton M.303)
The effect bote a good gadget, is not too much abuse, however, the effects are of good quality. The roll is a kind of sampler is INTERESTED handle. I also like the phaser and flanger. As against the filter is a little too radical I got, and the echo is sometimes ineffective.
I test the sampler through the accapella is ultra convenient but not exploitable. However, the sampler is efficient trs we can stall like a c'tait troisime platinum (pitch and pitch bend).
SOUNDS
The sound is really prcis, clear, no saturation in the treble. For we feel that it is against the numrique, you must have good decks derrires.
With two Stanton lack of warmth in the bass. While Stanton with a table of TRS analog I had good bass.
With a pair of CDJ-800MK2 the sound quality is much better no lack of bass, DEFINITIONS sound much better.
[edit] APRS 4 months I realized that the sound of the master table is compressed, no problem in pr-cost voice 1 or 2, in pr against Master-cost or Master Output 1 or 2, the sound is highly DGRAD! I will compare with the DJM-400 from a friend, to see if the electronic circuit of my table would not lead to falling behind. [/ EDIT]
[edit 2] False alarm, my friend also had the same problem, we realized that the button stereo / mono derrire the table s'tait engaged. It has sre APRS works much better: D If you ever have a sound DGRAD vrifier this little switch. [/ EDIT 2]
OVERALL OPINION
Satisfied with this product as a whole: compact, quality sound, cool effects.
The report / trs quality price is good for those who do not need more than 2 channels (see 3) I recommend it.
