MILLS Acoustics introduced the latest addition to their lineup of Pro-Tour Guitar Cabs, the Merlin 212.
The Merlin is based on a “floating baffle” design for mounting the drivers. The speaker baffle is hand-planed to a thickness of 3/8" and is suspended within the cab itself. It is attached down the two vertical edges only, which gives the baffle the ability to flex slightly and deliver a warm resonance at lower volumes, the company says.
