Mixer of the same size as the famous Pioneer DJM (500, 600, 700, etc.) so they are not rackable. Maybe there there's brackets for sale such as Pioneer, I do not know.

Connection CAR everywhere + microphone input + USB. More than enough to use that I have.

Box integrated effect, not very helpful and not really intuitive.

4-way, 2 + entry via a USB (I have not tested) port.

Band equalizer (bass, mid, treble) on each channel with kill rather correct on each knob, effective kill because when the three frequencies are cut, there is no sound.

UTILIZATION

Installation, connection and configuration simple and effective. I have not looked at the manual even if the need for the effects section because they are not mentioned at all on the mixer itself, There are just a series of numbers and get lost a little.

Otherwise, the use is simple, as a Pioneer DJM.

SOUNDS

At the sound, it's okay on a small installation like mine. However, we hear the breath when you climb a little volume master.

There's a filter named XPQ that completely useless except to rot sound quality. The effects also degrade the sound.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been about a week since I have so I can not find it on the longevity of this mixer.

I tried and owned several mixers (Pioneer DJM 500 and 600, Rodec MX 180 MK3, Rodec BX-9). I can not really do the comparison because these models are top notch. My current table in addition to the DJX 900 is Rodec BX-9 and it is clear that they are two completely different worlds.

What I like most:
- Easy to use;
- Mixer flat as Pioneer and not tilted as Rodec;
- Correct quality for the price (be careful if you are still nags you do not keep time, it's not Rodec!).

What I like least:
- Not at all linear faders (all plays last centimeter);
- Effects that are, in my opinion, nothing;
- Blow up a bit when the master too, but it's still okay to use at home.

Value for money right in my opinion. € 215 for a 4-channel mixer, it's pretty good. The appearance is very nice and I think the quality of the knobs and faders is sufficient for careful users like me. Nags, go your way.

I bought this model for a mixer flat (not tilted as Rodec) with a meter on each way (I do not have with the BX-9) without snapping € 800 for a Pioneer. This Behringer DJX 900 seemed a good compromise, especially for use at home. But I do not do this choice because the only thing that bothers me is the non-linearity of faders. Which I'm used to my Rodec very linear, I have a little trouble getting used to it. But for home use, this mixer is more than enough.
