UTILIZATION

very simple config, handling almost instantaneous nice kill function to send heavy.

SOUNDS

transparant to death, to the end of analog knobs, no breath even after 10 years of use, it was a gift from my father when I start mixing on k2.

OVERALL OPINION

I since its 10 or so, it has not aged a bit, do not flinch uses, but from now it serves me for my delivery man outside my studio.
jme remember the price of this one, but even if it was costing € 1,000 jtrouve ben ten years after its not too expensive.

ben it sounds, I have direct xlr plug on two active alesis mk2 and it sounds really good, has rejuvenated my monitor that is starting to old (but they will tjrs as well!)

Mixer trs complte in terms of inputs and outputs

All configurations seem possible (3 or 4 cds and phono 2 phono + 2 cds ...) all on four tracks.

Output, two types of RCA and XLR connectors. Versatility in use so that I do (for the XLR master and RCA for returns)

UTILIZATION

APRS packet opened and connections must not prs 20 minutes to circle the diffrent usual functions. I am not a specialist in the botes effect but reading the manual allowed me to quickly understand how to connect one.

Question headphone, please note that there are two possible outputs (one front and one on top). I never use the top one because I find wrong place (the trend over the headphone lying on the table). But in the end it INTERESTED because it allows to mix classes . The headphone has a split (= right atrium hall pfl = left atrium). Useful if returned mdiocre!

I am not a specialist in sound but I used to say that we should not be specialist in to advise

Personally given my knowledge of acoustics, I have absolutely no criticism to the table in terms of its sound. I think instead it gives a warm and round sound trs (mainly use vinyl). It gives the impression of a PCHE hell which is not for me dplaire Frankly I am glad trs.

TRS headphone output is also good, there is Reserved

The trs qualisateurs are effective as explained above.

OVERALL OPINION

A table that fills me in the use I make of (home + mix somewhat more heavy per year). I have two years and she will rev well. I added to it ending for an effect module, and I hte to see where it goes.

Overall, it gives me the feel of a product well thought out and robust good compromise between quality and price.

I have not tried before in other models in the same price range a few uses stealth of a Pioneer DJM500 (whose sound had seemed more aggressive)

What can I say? Given this experience, I would do the same choice!

OVERALL OPINION

It is a very good restaurant in almost every way for a price of 450 euros (ebay store).
It is ideally suited to electronic music, but watch out for any dj hardcore or speedcore (industrial type, high or low in the medium), because the console tends to saturate at some mix, resulting in a medium unfaithful to the music and which is very unpleasant to the ear (this is fairly rare but can surprise you in live performance). Otherwise, I will try to list its flaws because its qualities were much too long (and I agree with prior reviews). The kills are pretty effective but occasionally creak when used repeatedly or if you have a bit of delay in the onset. The cutoff frequency of the knobs is slightly insufficient for my taste, 20 to 25 db would have been better (but I quibble ...).
A report switch phono / line are very good qualities and can be used directly to introduce a sound (no cracking, no side effects). Faders and the cross are very robust. Having previously mixed with a vestax pcv 275 and a tascam x9, I find that the frequency extremes are well treated. Audio Converter (despite the small problem described above) is very good for a table of this award and it is not even intimidated by extreme tempos. Indeed, I sometimes mix up to 350-400 bpm and the sound quality remains intact unlike Vestax who implore you to return to 33 turns (although I'm not crazy, but my usual tempos are more in 200bpm).
On the mainframe, the power supply hums a little so it will think about investing in an external power stablisée mix it will remove the maimum of your devices ...
For the price, it may not have all the features that some brands offer, but the quality of its components, thoughtful ergonomics, reliability and accuracy of this mix are probably one of the values ​​among the safest tables less than 500 euros.

This mixer is amazing ! I like the ergonomic faders and the ability to switch Xfader extremes to different channels.

UTILIZATION

Once you get past the "OMFG" of all the knobs and stuff, it is all pretty much common knowledge really. Layout is pretty well designed, all knobs are in the right places, ie Gain, EQ's then effects, then PFL switch. All main volume controls along with the PFL control is at the top of the mixer as well. Headphones socket is on the front panel of the mixer so the cable does not get in the way of your mixing.

SOUNDS

Sound quality is much better than my Vestax, but it is my amp that lets me down (DANG NABBIT !) The mixer is designed for all genres' really, with the VCA XFader control for people that do all that turntablism stuff, but also has all the EQ's for people who just do general mixing. No effects unit on this one, but it does have an effects send and receive. The only problem I have found with it is the kill switches all go one way. I keep trying to flick the left kill switch to the left instead of the right

OVERALL OPINION

Damn good build quality, no gimmicky silver metallic paints or stupid stickers and such. Also does not have a mounting flange, cos not everyone needs it... comes seperately tho :P The little switches are made of plastic, and look like they may break if some pressure was applied, but better than the pathetic little kills on my old Vestax.

Well, it cost me £420 so it is closer to my heart than my blood is. Third mixer I have had, and have been working towards this mixer for 5 months since I started DJing, and now that I have it, I aint lookin at another mixer :] Pioneer ? PAH ! :P
