The number of knobs because it is served can assign any.

I use it with the proper USB driver everything is functional and pelinement allimenté by USB.

UTILIZATION

The touch keyboard is it nice? Is it for your use?
Ben for the person who just want to play chords or melodies in basic leu DAW is fine but the touch is very soft in the knees if you are a pianist.

The manual is clear and sufficient?
Never used as super simple.

The general configuration is it simple?
Yes.

The selection of MIDI channels, patches is easy?
Once configured you can do anything (not used for background)

Currently I am facing Akai 49 pro who touched a lot heavier
because I made a lot more but I kept on a small PC configuration to play a few chords.

I personally beginners in sinformatique, music simply by the way. Why evolution MK-249C? Premire price, trs affordable for a keyboard like this with all assignable knobs (wheel and master's included). Ct finishes and look I find it pretty cool, gray mtal few touches of color, a blue LED screen, it was a good mouth. Lightweight (4kg), easily transportable, easy installation and fast, usable on a good laptop or a desktop PC with a USB dot (very handy!). Talking about the touch also still a good, good feeling when taking in hand, one small pb its 49 keys, a fair bit to really play live. I would recommend it as a key booster zicos confirm or keyboard as startup for all beginners. Last point that I have seen, strong it comes to picking a monumental mess and I'm still alive!!
Comes with a power MIDI and a USB port, and no better succinct notice on the site (in English), no sustain pedals (for between one against), a MIDI and a USB output (power supply and MIDI) , possibility to make it work on transformer (not supplied cable and noon. In short, not mcontent of my purchase to 215.

UTILIZATION

As mentioned above, practical and easy to use for beginners, enjoyable touch, manual a bit short but sufficient to Get You Started.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 15 days, it's my first keyboard for PC and I'm not mcontent. Nothing wrong on the whole. In fact a simple keyboard, to take advantage of a software like Reason or cubase without too much difficulty. I possde small precision MK-249C ... the Difference? ides none.

I opt for the new MODEL MK449C which offers 8 9 Pots and faders SERIES plus 49 keys and Pitch / Mod. The number of controllers I liked and I'm satisfied. lice have 240 Euros 19 noon controls in addition to keyboard is really standard. The USB / MIDI is a hot simplicity of use: plug and play!

UTILIZATION

Touch is good, the keys are relatively large but the limit is still 49 for live. on the other hand is very easy to use with the concept of combo buttons to activate the low-level functions. Nice. In addition to kno each set of assignable MIDI channel of diffrent gnral, practice.

OVERALL OPINION

Goodies: A quantity of standard controls, a 4-octave keyboard for a hyper attractive prices. Latency is extremely correct with no synthetic view of my SB Live Hard. Really conclusive.

Only problem: The pots and faders are high even when invoice, and must be handled with prcaution. After one month I have a dja floating a bit.

Anyway, to start in the MIDI or use Home Studio is perfect unpretentious.
Having control of assignable knobs is a definite plus.
I have the MK-249C ² (blue display).

UTILIZATION

The feel is pretty good overall, we obtain a dynamic response correct for this price range.
For the config, I download the drivers and M-Audio is a Windows XP installation, plug and play!
Tampering by a few in my sequencer I have assigned the mixer faders general, it is more pleasant to work with the mouse ...
Reason no problem in the editing controls is a breeze.

OVERALL OPINION

I have 1 month, purchased from "an opportunity for € 100.
Calves from pitch and modulation are very significant and well placed.
I intended to buy a 49 ekey order not to expensive, but an opportunity presented itself so the choice was quickly made: a keyboard coupled with a mini control surface is a plus.
The construction seems solid, to see over time.

The only downside is the lack of aftertouch and midi in for me ... but hey at this price ....

The key is very correct for a keyboard entry like this

I sold it because I've to other synths that I use my keyboard and lack of space for the price but otherwise I think I do it again if I had the choice m reprocurer a

The value for money is good

I appreciate its convenience, we branch USB connection and it's power supply and Midi. No need for drivers for Windows XP (as against mandatory under Win2000).

UTILIZATION

A master keyboard to feel. I'm not a keyboardist, but I use it all the time to listen and my notes in my sequencer software. Knobs to lock also have a good grip, and the pitch bend and modulation. on the other hand I do not like the contact buttons, but it is a matter of taste, and then as I do not program the keyboard (my settings are all software), I only use the buttons change to octave)

OVERALL OPINION

It's been about 3 years that I have no weakness to be deplored finish. Always a pleasure to use and carry around with confidence. A product cheap and really well designed for its range. Now I turn instead to a firewire model, and with more controllers (faders, buttons ...).

Only complaint was maybe coulda used a few more knobs, pardon me I'm a tweaker freak...hehe. Also would have liked velocity sensitivity... but you know the saying, don't look a gift horse in the mouth....yada yada... hehe =) Be careful what driver updates you install!

I guess it might be hard to use if you had no experience with a piano or other keyboard/synthesizer...etc.

Definetly giggable, in my opinion. Although I haven't used it out of my studio yet... Maybe a TAD bit plasticy... but what isn't these days?

It's great, does exactly what I need it too, and it doesn't complain...
