Evolution Mk-449cPublished on 04/06/14 at 20:10
I had an old an broken korg keytar that i kept and now it serve for parts replacement and then i saw that auction on ebay for the mk449c evolution
keyboard and i knew that it will have to be mine.
So i bought the mk449c and i adapted it an aluminium neck and using the parts from the old keytar and realizing some internal connections in about a month
i had a ready to use Diy Keytar
I like the fact that is both : Usb for computer connection and has the Midi Out connection, besides it has many midi controllers, the sliders, knobs and buttons, and i can easy program how i like the sound to be, and also with other programs of course, at distance, without touch the computer keyboard i can send...…

I like the fact that is both : Usb for computer connection and has the Midi Out connection, besides it has many midi controllers, the sliders, knobs and buttons, and i can easy program how i like the sound to be, and also with other programs of course, at distance, without touch the computer keyboard i can send instructions to computer for when i want to start the song, change sounds and tracks, change effects on live presentation, etc.
And better yet i can drive both my Vst instruments and my other love :
The Yamaha Qy100 of course it is the magic of Midi.

UTILIZATION

Once you got thru the manual and experiment with your configurations it is not difficult to understand.
Maybe for the beguinner will be a curve of learning like in any other device but its no difficult at all

OVERALL OPINION

For the price is a good choice and althought it has not sounds, no styles, no effects, it does have midi and does it well.

I only wish it had be more robust, it is light weight and its Ok for that but keys and usb connection are a bit weak i think, maybe i will have to repair it in a few years.

It have to be treated with care

Other than that i give it a 10 because it makes my dream come true !!!

I wanted to offer a keyboard that my nephew made under AudioTools, and considering the price I was looking for one lunchtime with a lot of faders / knobs to manage the real-time values. USB and powered by the computer to limit the cables.
Connectivity: USB, midi out, footswitch jack configurable: sufficient.
I kept it because it does not match the "specifications" of nephew and (especially) his parents. on the other hand it goes well for my home studio use.

UTILIZATION

UTILIZATION

The touch keyboard type synth / organ, not rely on a heavy touch piano. Fortunately also, because playing the synth with a piano touch, it makes me uncomfortable.
Manual: enough, I have not watched or even downloaded.
Configuration: one branch and it works after that depends on what my software is to assign the buttons. For example, the original Minimoog V demo can instantly affect "midi learn": clicking on a parameter, move a button on the keyboard and it is affected registered. There's no easier or faster!
After that, it is also recognized under Linux (Fedora CCRMA, ubuntustudio, Tangostudio) without difficulty.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had three weeks, I have another midi keyboard without a lot of knobs / faders and a Korg digital piano with just one pedal (but also twelve o'clock). In fact it will complete the park, I hope to route 3 to play a style plugin multiclaviers classical organ or Hammond, implying that each is recognized and assigned to a software keyboard. A view.

OK money, even very good, even if I paid a little more expensive that the argus but very good condition, packaging, CD and cable, plus nice seller ;).

With hindsight, I would do this choice, I did not find better at this price. And robustness is somewhat secondary.

I wanted a master keyboard and Controller noon with a tight budget. I t sduit by seeing in one block and a 4-octave keyboard more than 10 Controller noon, plus USB connectivity midiou. The price is attractive to many Features and four octaves make it almost usable live.

UTILIZATION

The keyboard even in him, without being exceptional Submitted keys large enough and comfortable, even if they are a bit lgres and Reduces the sensitivity is a range of VLOC s close enough. The connection is of extreme ease and even if the USB cable is a little short, it is recognized by Interacting with XP without drivers, and other OS CD provided is clear and full of utilities .

The controllers are numerous which is a bliss, their use is clear, when handling a knob on the controller numro twelve o'clock and value are displayed on the screen which makes the Use comfortable, the mapping is instinctive and when using software such as self dtection flp or Reason is almost too simple. The manual comes with complter clear picture of all possible commands. Only the MIDI cable is not supplied with standard keyboard. However the quality-General for the hardware, suffering the problem of low prices, is fairly average. The keys are too lgres my taste, and the game is hard to be dynamic, such as the pots have faders look pretty fragile, I use them since January and some are beginning to be less rsistants to the touch. Finally, cache pots and faders are small pieces of ergonomic plaqtique not trs. but do not mprenez, I'm choosy to a hardware Exceeds that in the end what I expected from him.

OVERALL OPINION

Conclusion: Trs good for a first purchase because it possde CONTRL enough to have fun, this award is a gift. of luxury. Against it by more than a toy for use pro look more solid.

Describes the CHARACTERISTICS are on the site.
I find the correct keyboard for the price (195 nine in-store).

UTILIZATION

The touch keyboard is lightweight but I've seen worse (radium 49), the black keys have a lot of games but appear when comparing those same rsistantes Radium 49 (yet) o keys are pressed or remain dj soulvent After a few uses.
The USB connection is simple, you plug Win XP recognizes it's good.
The faders also have the games and do not seem trs solid, against the potentiomtres are strong enough.
The configuration is pretty simple overall.

There are two manuals, a quick boot in English and one more advanced in French, I do not know why they did not put everything in the same language but it is not serious trs The two are quite clear and sufficient.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two days, it is simple to configure, inexpensive, lots of controllers.
I used many dj radium 49, which for some prs the same price, is of lower quality and less practical.
Here is the report qualitprix trs good, 195 for a keyboard that is trs cool, despite its some default (but even when 195!).
I do not regret my purchase.
