I bought the guitar in Bass Center in Paris. Good price, good service. He managed to find the instrument while at that time there was a shortage in the United States and Europe.
Made in USA
Bolt and pasted (not yet well understood the value of the thing!)
20 Frets
For preamps there are several montages. The model I bought has a Fishman Prefix.

This is a "jumbo" quite impressive at first. The depth of the box is 12 cm with a maximum width of 45 cm.
I find the nice satin finish. There is the model cb 105 no frills ... is a perfect simplicity.
UTILIZATION
The handle is comfortable and enjoyable.
Access to correct for an acute acoustic.
The bass is well balanced. We appreciate the stability that quickly gives its volume (especially playing seated).
On leaving the store the bass was almost unplayable with an abysmal action but a perfect round. After a little work on the nut (the nut to keep the original, I bought a Graphtech Tusq the same size as I gradually cut and polished) I was able to gain a few millimeters on the action.
I also replaced the strings D'addario (frankly not great) with a set DR.
SOUNDS
The sound of this bass is amazing and powerful. This is a true acoustic bass it is not necessary to amplify when playing with acoustic guitars.
Electric bass also sounds very good. The Fishman prefix offers many possibilities you can really tweak the sound.
Despite the phase inverter, the big problem with this bass is its tendency to leave in the feedback devastating. Impossible to place a feedback buster in the rosette as it is eccentric and comma-shaped (I'll end up making an Optura myself). So you must always pay close attention to his playing position relative to sound sources.
I use this bass with an Acoustic Image Clarus I and an Aguilar AG500.
OVERALL OPINION
I have this bass for 6 months and I love his touch and sound.
Positive aspects: mainly sound, playing comfort, balance, simplicity and reliability of the finish, the provision of a body in "hard".
Negative aspects: the tendency to feedback, the central position of the preamp (because of the rosette eccentric).
The bass is relatively expensive but it "sounds" in acoustics and in this price range (+ or-1300) is the only one to do that as well.
I would do without a doubt the choice of this instrument.
