UTILIZATION

-Touch of UF8 is good, but as usual, it's a personal matter (as for me I am very picky, being a classical pianist, and "home studio") I will compare to UF8 of other keyboards.
The UF8 completely overwrites the Keystation Pro and is below the motif es 8 or S90.
Before me the store was located a RD 300 SX and I thought that was close to touching the UF8.
To test the keyboard, I play all styles (classical, jazz, variety) in general, all keyboards are doing not too bad for styles such as: the variety and jazz, but a bit sharper as Chopin Etudes, some keyboards (I should say a lot) do not coup.L 'UF8 is doing no worse than another against a more technical directory. OVERALL OPINION

I use it for ten days and everything goes fine. I was looking for a keyboard to touch heavy (more sensual and accurate in my opinion that the keyboard organ), and some midi controllers to control effects and VST instruments.
I use the MIDI OUT connector, not USB, it is not well supported by my PC (with the famous VIA KT133 !!!!). Too bad, because the controls for Cubase sequencer machines do not work with Midi output.

UTILIZATION

Touch is really good, far ahead of the M-Audio Keystation (for the same price), much closer to what is proposed yamaha or roland in touch heavy for three times the price (P90, RD300sx etc ...) . Touch is really a success.
The controllers are sufficient, it is regrettable centering knobs is very convenient for PAN but much less for the rest.
There is no software to reprogram the assignment of MIDI controllers, but it's not really a problem with the "Learn" function that offers all the effects and virtual instruments now.

OVERALL OPINION

To quibble, I would have preferred more sober colors, a lower weight (20 kg beast!), A smaller footprint. But hey, I use it for 5 days and I'm really not disappointed, the finish is very good, very far from the usual plastic in this price range, the controllers are numerous, a real sustain pedal is delivered and that requiring a transformer. The aftertouch is good triggers, and there are many options that make this keyboard an excellent master keyboard.
The strengths of this keyboard are touch and the price, there is nothing seen in competition opportunity for even twice the price. I put 10 for the price.

The CHARACTERISTICS that motivated my choice: A heavy touch keyboard, the Controller DIFFERENT, price and FireWire extension (which I prcommand but these gentlemen are expected to officiate)

Me I had the manual in English but hey you get way out. for a test immediately, I plugged in my korg arranger I5 and it's rather nice to be able CONTRL volumes of the arrangement of the fawn (the I5's no fader but then the buttons to go from 0127 in less than 20 seconds uh ... impossible. arranger my life again. I repost a notice when I received the firewire card to test it on cubase or other ...

Nothing wrong everything is frankly trs simple ... a look at the manual is not too ... ca saves time.

I just got it in fact ... I spend the day on it. And the first opinion is very positive. I just regret not having received an extension at the same time ... because the I can not wait now.

I have tried any MODEL ago. I'm just down on the advice of Audiofanzine. In this regard thank you everyone who post their opinions about the UF8 (particularly Samplehunter definitely convinced me). I have long hsit UF8 between the FATAR TMK88 and the Keystation Pro and my choice was the UF8 ... No regrets over quality unbeatable price.

The machine is all metal, original and look nice and well supplied with, keep you well: a cable industry, but also a USB cable, and especially a sustain pedal! Has never seen until the pedal for!!

I possde are 8 grounds, obviously I compared it and I must say it is quite surprising for the price! Touch is really good and I felt good over of gaming!

OVERALL OPINION

I have only a few hours and has impressed not only by its looks but also by his orders!

OVERALL OPINION

Hallucinating while reading the opinions because I think a lot of people criticize this keyboard wrong, it looks like they do not know that normally a keyboard matre the heavy touch that price (in my case, 330 euro of OCAS) has no (or should I say plutt no)!

Only default relement notable for me, but that does not impede me beyond measure when the surprise happens is the noise made when you play the keys ... In recording this change requires VLOC with the button on rgl curve 3 (from memory ...) to play any "soft". But it's not top top ... bah I made my keyboard part in gnral APRS.

Otherwise, I am agree with the opinion prcedent on this keyboard, as pianist (admittedly "only" five years of conservative, but I also play jazz or rock for a while) I can tmoigner it is not bad. I improvise on it without problem, and is the main. and then remote, it is very well and easily configurable! RAAA! I viserais a vx (still with cme) ... in time (and with the money to ...)!

8 controllers for velocity, tone, etc........ U can control Pro Tools (only stop, start, rewind, and FF) or a sequencer through it.

A TANK! It looks like its off a space ship. It came from NM and the box took quite a beating. However the unit was fine. I HIGHLY suggest this Midi Controller. The keys feel like I'm playing a grand piano, and it comes with a sustain pedal, usb cord, ac cord, software drivers, and instr. manual

I'm NEVER selling this controller!
