Jim Dunlop launches a revamped version of its DC Brick power supply for guitar pedals, now sold by MRX.
The MXR DC Brick features a new brushed aluminum chassis (the previous version was black). But the changes aren’t just about the look, for the power supply now handles twice the power of the previous version. Each 9V output has a red LED that illuminates if there’s a short.
The MXR DC Brick offers eight 9V and two 18V outputs (versus seven 9V and three 18V on the Dunlop version). It ships with a DC adaptor and all the necessary cables for your pedals.
MSRP in the US is $196, street price is around $120. You’ll find more details at www.jimdunlop.com/product/mxr-dc-brick.

glassjaw7New AFfiliatePosted on 03/07/2013 at 05:43:22Wonder if the outputs are isolated this time around? No point even considering buying this if they share a common ground like the old one.
