If you're tired of the battery consumption of your active electronics guitar or bass, here may be a good news for you as Zam Power introduces the Zam, an accessory aimed at alimenting your instrument without EVER changing battery.
How does it work? Very simply: replace your battery with the fake battery that is provided with the Zam, then plug the guitar into the unit using the included stereo cable. Now you can select the current according to your instrument’s requirement (either 6, 9 or 18V), and plug the Zam into your amp using any instrument cable. Turn it on—and here you go!
No more battery means less cost and less pollution, but also a better sound presence and dynamics as the incoming current will be more stable and constant. The Zam is announced in France for 139€ (taxes in, shipping not included) on Zam Power’s web site.
