"Handcrafted in China", ca might scare and yet the quality of the wood joints and the overall look is without any criticism.
Recall that Guild is part of the Fender house, a guarantee of quality and confidence for the timid.

UTILIZATION

The handle reminds me of my Lag end, satin .... nice enough to make your girlfriend jealous!
The cutaway allows to be at ease in the top of the neck, it is well balanced, light and quite naturally finds its place in your arms!

SOUNDS

The solid mahogany head to toe gives it a nice round and warm sound with medium and treble well balanced. One could imagine bass Martin D-15 and treble Taylor.
Sustain let me dream, accuracy and precision are made.
A different grain of what we hear every day, enough roots, but without going overboard.

It is ideal for fingerpicking blues, but is versatile enough to support the pop, rock, folk, even if his predilection field is undoubtedly the blues, oh yeah!

It can keep its head high against rivals notament facing the D-15.

I have not yet tested in electro, but I plan to invest in the amp and Marschall AS50D'll come here to complete my opinion.

OVERALL OPINION

I received Friday, my fingers discovered two days that I can call magic!
I hesitate a long time with a Martin D-15, but its versatility and especially the price, have Strongly believes me for the Guild.

I torturing mind for me and a few I cracked a sudden one and I do not regret it. Let's see how it will age and dévelloper its sound, but it bodes really, really good.
