I purchased this Takamine from Stan Hebert's Music Shoppe in Hammond, Louisiana and Stan has be great to do business with. It is a Jumbo, cut-a-way, with an unadorned soild top, with mahogany sides and back. It is equipped with Takamine's Graph EX Pre-Amp and is an absolute joy to play. I paid $900 and consider it a bargain.

The action is great, the tone is superb, and owning this guitar has inspired me to practice as I have never done in my 35 years of playing. I have gone from a VERY basic campfire song strum-a-long player to an avid fingerstyle and blues student and I play EVERY day.

I absolutely LOVE this guitar and I have no complaints. If anything, I didn't pay enough for an instrument of this quality.

The nut was 0.002 inches or so narrower than the neck. I can't see it but, I can feel it.

I am very happy with this guitar. I have played it daily for since I purchased it 4 months ago and the more I play it the more I love it. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in a jumbo acoustic-electric

    UTILIZATION

Exceptional playing comfort, sumptuous handle allowing touch glisss wildest plutt rounded end and enjoyable on hand.
Those who do not have habits a bit hard to take over the jumbo size is not a small size, and weight is affected. Nanmoins it is not overly heavy, even if a flight case, all is not for small arms.

    SOUNDS

The sound is round, and the table in cedar Submitted a certain lack in the high compared to pica, but it suits me. Any fawn gure is comparable to an equilibrated sound takamine please do not may be a follower of Martin and other well-sounding brilliant. But the bass is good Submitted on jumbo not there as abroad.
The prampli wonders, the trs beautiful sound with a certain flexibility to adapt without extreme styles of play. Let's say for the Acoustic / Bluesy / Jazzy DLIC is pure, the sound Taka, we like it or not remains even when a REFERENCE in electro, even if in entry-level can dcevoir this SERIES is truly exceptional.

    OVERALL OPINION

I got it into an opportunity for 15 days and I'm still in love. Plugge directly into the mic without prampli between my sound card is good at all without artifice. You have to play a little with the EQ rglages and excite her to refine the style of each piece, but overall it is beautiful, especially with Elixir medium pulling pulling the quintessence of violin and electronics. A beautiful Japanese ralisations.
