Published on 03/13/03 at 15:00Bought this accoustic/electric from Music123.com for $419 including Takamine custom fit hard case. This was the best deal I could find on the web. Other sites had the same package formore than $500.
This guitar sounds great plugged into an amp (I also purchased an Ibanez 10 watt amp)or when unplugged. I've only been playing for a year and 1/2, but even I can tell a major difference in sound quality of this guitar and other I heard in this price range.
Haven't found any dislikes thus far.
Takamine did not take any shotcuts on quality with this unit. The hard shell case fits the guitar very snuggly, no movement in case what-so-ever.
As you can tell I'm very happy with this purchase. My wife, who used to complain about the noise when I played, now seems to want me to play more.
