«  Beautiful guitar balanced »

Published on 06/04/11 at 01:42
Guitar made in Korea
21 frets
cutaway
Takamine TK-40 preamp: 3-band EQ, tuner, gain, EQ Bypass, Mid Contour, and Notch Filter
Connection jack into the fastener strap
There's really nothing to say about the finish of the guitar, except some patches of glue on the inside.

UTILIZATION

Not much to say here, the handle is a bit cramped on the first fret (42.5 mm). Adding a belt to brake a little access to Treble remains very convenient. The back of the guitar is pretty impressive, right arm of a sudden a moderate freedom of movement.
Mechanics and the whole is solid.

SOUNDS

In terms of sounds, this is THE best thing about this guitar. This type of guitar often lacks bass for my taste, and sound of the blow rather superficial, such as fenders for entry level electro acoustic. The eg531 a balance in its frequency that really attracted me (I was starting to come into the store to buy a bass ...). No bad surprises in any agreement, no vibration or incongruous spectral strangeness, we play soft or hard.
The preamp is very good, the EQ is transparent and efficient, responsive tuner.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had yesterday was my first electric acoustic guitar, and the first guitar that I do not buy for value for money, I was really impressed by its sound quality and impeccable finishes. For 600 € was a really good guitar midrange neutrality allows sound much fun. The next time I buy a Takamine guitar it without hesitation.

I put 8 / 10 because I probably lack of recoil on the purchase.
