Made in Japan, it is a model found in France. Purchased on the Internet at an unbeatable price, because not having the original preamp, but that fitted to the model EAN16C.
Spruce table. Can not find a true translation into French, but if anyone knows. Just found "spruce"!
Rosewood back and sides.
Rosewood handle that has 20 frets.
Preamp CT-4Bii equipment normally EAN series with integrated tuner and setting low, mid, hi and volume. The original preamp, the CTP1 is equipped with a lamp to warm the sound. I do not know if there is a huge difference.

Very nice finish with his impeccable polish. Mechanical oil bath. The whole breathes the highest quality. Really a beautiful guitar!

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice. However, playing primarily on a Stratocaster, my fingers are suffering just because the strings are higher. Rosewood is a very hard wood and very compact, requires no varnish at the touch, then drag the handle is not as nice as on a varnished maple neck (refer to the Stratocaster). Finally, it is a point of view, and is anyway difficult to compare with an electric acoustic.

The cutaway allows easy access to acute, but frankly, I do not really have the need. I use this guitar mainly picking and open agreement, and rarely exceeds the 12th fret.

In weight, nothing to say to a guitar completely wooden shaft (not glued against). For ergonomics, well it's a guitar according to the standard size dreadnought shape, so no particular surprise.
Just a flat attachment strap on the side neck that seems oddly placed. Indeed it is directed downward, with a strap that makes access more difficult acute. But not playing than sitting and using very little the last case, in fact, I do not care :-).

SOUNDS

The sound is fabulous when with him, acoustics! An unusual harmonic richness with low and medium very well defined, and highs too gaudy, just right as it should. In agreement opened with a pick, the sound is powerful and very rich.
I also have an old Ibanez PF10 acoustic, but nothing to do. The PF10 sounds hollow and flat compared to the Takamine. I finally discovered what a real acoustic guitar.
In electro, tested on a Fender bass amp and an amp BXR100 Hifi via a sound card, sound is also very well defined. But not a real electric guitar amp sound is difficult to give a reliable opinion on this point.

OVERALL OPINION

Used only a few hours, I am totally conquered by both the build quality, the beauty of the object by the sound that emerges.
Just a little flat on the handle a bit steep, but hey, it's more for me to adapt. I was hoping to do a revolution in the neck compared to my old Ibanez. It's much better, but harder than a power.
Purchased on the Internet, so I do not have to try it, but I trusted the various opinions found on the Internet (among other Audiofanzine for other brand models).
The price / quality ratio is excellent in my case, puisqu'acheté new € 810 instead of € 1425 on Thomann.
Retail price, I would do maybe not this choice, but occasionally by the Laron ..!
I watched as the Blueridge guitar as highly rated as excellent copies and Martin at unbeatable prices.
