« Nice intro »

Taylor is in my opinion the best acoustic guitar manufacturer in the world. They build some of the best sounding acoustic guitars that have a distinct but yet a very percussive and great sounding instrument. This is a 314 CE series guitar which is one of the lower-level models. I believe it's the first model that is built in the United States. The 100 and 200 series I believe are built in Mexico where this is the first of the models that is built in the United States. Overall this is a cool guitar but there are other guitars out there that can get a better sound for the money.

SOUNDS

There's not a lot of features involved in this guitar but it has a great sound great tone for someone is looking for that expensive acoustic sound. This guitar has a nice lady tone that sounds pretty good and pretty much anything that you put it. Overall this is a great sounding instrument and if you're on a budget then I suggest looking elsewhere because these guitars around a hefty price. It has that nice deep mahogany wood tone that is very inviting and fun to play.

OVERALL OPINION

If you find a tailor 314 CE series new phone right around $1600. That's a pretty expensive price for a tasty guitar for most musicians but if you're wanting to step up to a nice solid acoustic tone then this is the best and first option that I would go with as far is Taylor guitars come. The 100 and 200 series don't really sound as good as the 314 series in my opinion but if you really want to step up to the great sounding guitar then I suggest going with 414 CE Taylor. I would not buy this guitar unless it was used somewhere. It has a good sound but not for the money. I would rather step into a smaller builder that puts more of their artwork into the build process of the guitar.
