Excellent
Made in China, solid top, 20 frets, Equis Crystal preamp WME with 3-band EQ, presence and notch, piezo under bridge, and XLR output jack 6.35. Overall finish very correct.
UTILIZATION
The neck is thin and not too wide for electro, so easy and comfortable to play. Cutaway = last boxes easily accessible. For the rest, it is a medium sized dreadnough, no surprise. The preamp is on top, under the eyes, and the battery is changed from the outside (easy open compartment).
SOUNDS
Very good sound definition. Special mention for bass that are present and well defined. The acute lack a bit of crystal, but with Elixir strings, is honorable.
Once connected (Live console), we find the same characteristics. The EQ is very musical, lets get a little extreme treble. The presence control is really her name and allows a single player game without blushing.
Very good basis, consume or effective. on the other hand it lacks a little personality and well-typed style sounds drunk or jazz roots are difficult to obtain.
OVERALL OPINION
Purchased in early January after some time of wandering to find the rare pearl cheap. Standing away the Takamine, Ovation and others lag or Cort same price because of its small response to this Washburn. It bears comparison with models at 800 €, either in configuration or concert unplugged home studio. Excellent value for money, so.
