I bought this cutaway dreadnaughts acoustic-electric from Denny Zager of http://www.zagerguitars.com because he advertised the easiest playing set-up possible. I paid less than the suggested retail but a lot more than the discount on-line places - $445. it was worth it for the excellent set-up, not and bridge work, as wqell as the care in choosing a well done instrument, all which he promises. He really delivered on all aspects.

Very slim profile, fast-playing necks, nice sound from the solid top, great pre-amp (Equis0 controls and wonderful plugged in sound. I've never played an easier to play acoustic. it has a bright bold sound with great bass presence. Looks really handsome as well.

The snobby side of me would be happier with solid back and sides, but the thing is solid and sounds wonderful.

Very sturdy construction, perfect finish. A solid and reliable guitar. I've played it out, and it will stand up to the rigors of performance, yet it's purty enough to make me careful.

In spite of previously owning guitars from the 3 top USA acoustic guitar places, I am happier with this Washburn. It sounds almost the same as the "top 3's" that I've owned, but the ease of play is beyond any of them I've owned or tried. I am very happy with this.
