The EQ microphone set below the average practically gives the natural sound of the guitar set above it gives her more métallique.Quand I bought 3 of the same model guitar FGX no 412 had a similar sound, his first was an acute acute medium was the 2nd and 3rd was Grave, medium, a treat acute relief in its full range.

UTILIZATION

Ergonomics is excelent it was well in hand this is a tough guitar (I have used it in Mountain refuge between party pal) did not bougée excelent condition.

SOUNDS

it has a good sound to it, goes everywhere as well as rhythmic solo.Avec HARTKE AC75 amps with a lot of relatively simple but very good effects.

OVERALL OPINION

Purchased new in 2005 to 530 Euros.Je just bought a Takamine EG 523sc has a louder sound (Jumbo) forces in electro-acoustic .... a very good sound, but for a more natural sound coming back to the FGX , that in a short ecelente guitar.

I bought my Yamaha FGX412SC Acoustic Electric as a gift to myself for my birthday because of the low quality of my first acoustic. And, boy, am I glad I did. I purchased it at Mars Music Center in Oklahoma City for about $300, and it was worth every penny. The acoustic tone is worth far more than the asking price alone, not to include the rich acoustic tone you get every time you pick it up, no matter your surroundings.

As I've mentioned before, my first acoustic (which shall go nameless) was one of low quality because it was one of low cost. The craftsmanship was excellent, but the tone was not what I was looking for. I was considering a Takamine for my next acoustic because of their many features that seem to make them stand out from the others, but as I was trying one out I stumbled onto my Yamaha. I picked it up and began playing it. I instantly fell in love! It's craftsmanship and beauty make it one of a kind. It has a warm and rich acoustic tone no matter where you are or your current surroundings. It is great for playing live for a huge crowd or just a few friends. It is also excellent to learn on if you're just starting out. I am currently teaching my father the basics of guitars and he uses my Yamaha from time to time to practice.

Although beautiful sounding acoustically, from time to time I tire of its Adjustable Midrange Frequency (AMF) control. Built onboard, it is suppossed to allow you to have extended tonal control over the instrument's overall sound and eliminate unwanted feedback during live performances when you're plugged in. But I have yet to find a perfect setting for certain songs and still have a slight amount of feedback during performance, no matter the setting.

It is built with the beautiful and superior craftsmanship that Yamaha has instilled in their guitars. It features a solid spruce top, which explains its amazing acoustic tone, both unplugged and running through the amp of your choice, and a cutaway body. Built-in Piezo electric pickups accurately reproduce the full acoustic tone that the FGX Series is known for. It also includes an Adjustable Midrange Frequency (AMF) control for control over the overall sound of the instrument and the feedback presented when plugged in. It comes in Natural and Tobacco Sunburst.

The bottom line being this is one great guitar for those who can't afford the best. Once again, it has an amazing acoustic sound and unbelievable craftsmanship. It is by far my favorite of all my guitars, acoustic or electric.

UTILIZATION

it ten years and I love him as the first day. I have a baby taylor for short trips but it remains my main guitar.

10 years: nothing to say. It happens to try other guitars in others or in stores but I never really found him to replace ...

Once I came across an old Takamine jumbo OCCAZ which impressed me ... But I did not find this feeling eventually even on another version of this Takamine. In general, I think it attaches easily to a folk so sentimental, suddenly ...

It does not sound good and divinely hear the difference when someone shows up with a "monster" but that "my" guitar. Say it as if it had shaped my ear ... A strength is that sound I'm looking in the other instrument, my sound.

I think it's just a great guitar for beginners and that ultimately keeps all his life.
