50 W at EAR (EAR watt weighs less, takes less space and is more efficient than Watt "classic"). I know it's been a little laundry, but it is clear that the RMO whiter.

HP dual-cone 8 ": super performance

A parametric EQ (bass / med / high) very effective.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had one week

I borrowed a AER Compact 60 for several months, as well as slightly more powerful, I never pushed the volume to more than half (diffusion very effective), the alpha is more than enough with 50W.
The features are almost the same.

I like the portability, lightness, versatility (vocals guitar), robustness, excellent design of this amp suitable to nomadism, the oxen, to bars like the big stage, the undeniable knowledge of the brand, fact that you can screw onto a (vrai!) mic stand to have at ear level (volume saving, proximity), sound quality (color of sound, efficient dissemination compared to the power displayed : you are almost in the Hi-Fi), The sobriety that makes using the scope of my grandmother ... etc. ...

As has been said for the Compact 60, it is quite directive.
For me it's an advantage (better performance), and then there are the connectors for transplants on a sound system if necessary
EAR brand may seem a bit expensive for someone who has never tasted. But considering the quality of products, it's not really clear.
In addition, The Alpha range is more affordable with the same quality as the "Compact 60", especially as the Watts race is very secondary to what kind of amps.
A very good investment.
