JazzBluesLane
Wonderful guitar amplifier for acoustic and electric guitars. A pleasant clear and neutral sound.
Published on 01/06/23 at 12:08I bought this amplifier at a closing down musical instrument store for € 150,00 on sale (retailprice € 390,00). Not being familiar with the Carlsbro brand I was pleasantly surprised trying the amplifier at home. Not only has it a nice classic look but it sounds far beyond my expectation. It has a pleasant clear and neutral sound. He does well with my Ibanez AF55-TF Jazz guitar, my ES-335 style, my telecaster and stratocaster style guitars as well as my electro-acoustic travel guitar and LP-style guitar. In a full month of usage it has become my favorite amp!

I use this amplifier for jazz and blues. You can either plug the guitar right in or use it with a microphone. If you plug it right in with a cable you can use a microphone for singing.
Given the power and maximum volume I would say the amp is suitable for practicing, rehearsing with a band and small live settings. I haven't found any cons of this amp all I can say is it's a shame Carlsbro doesn't have a bigger name recognition.

For the voice I have not done the tests and I complete in a while ...
OVERALL OPINION
I've had two weeks
Without hesitation the best value for money in this game after testing articles marshall, behringer, and all the amps around € 400 equivalent, there's no picture!
Good, but, if the model above 120 watts, just more expensive!!

Amp really ddi acoustic guitar.
2 inputs, connectivity and basic but sufficient rglages, no frills.
In Eq, low / medium for semi-paramtrique/aigu between guitar.
For the 2nd between (choose between hi-jack or XLR low z), only bass / treble, but it's enough.
Just a rverb spring, anecdotally, that can be nice s'avrer is unusable, ca dpend place and rglages. Any y 'insert derrire fawn. Also a small company of dclenchement pedals, but I have not tried.
The small tweeter switchable more: the beginners, you may feel that it is nonexistent.
In this small Ralite option can s'avrer INTERESTED trs to play on the intelligibility of the sound, the voice for example, between the 2nd.

The power (80W, nickel is: should push for breath. More than enough for small rooms and even a bit larger!)
UTILIZATION
The sound kills! Little breath, a subtle grain, the dynamics of the presence, on a guitar vritablement Eq effective. The look is vintage trs, trs vintage reverb is, but just it just be funny. Although it back exploitable, ca dpend, but with great moderation Obviously, if the soup hello feedback.
As the weight is not untransportable, but even when heavy, einh.
SOUNDS
To play with my semi-hollow I takamine Squizz much of the medium around 800Hz, I ride the highs, and I get sound extremely clear: to intimate the game is the top. But you can really sculpt the sound with the medium parameter. As for bass, there is Reserved, no problemo.
For a live guitar / voice is impeccable. I am in favor of spare guitar amps and amps for voice intelligibility but with a good voice is suited rglage Submitted trs, it's great (with a SM58. Unless compltement turn the bass, in the case of use of proximity hsiter prvoir not a good anti-pop and it's all good APRS). I also tried with 2 guitars at the same time (the guild of my brother) is nickel, sherwood dbrouille is both a classic sound with a folk sound, and despite the fact whether one HP, the sounds are pretty good spars (in this case, the small tweeter is useful for "place" the folk against the acoustics). But to talk about what I know best, for the "nylon" I have never seen an amp also adapted in this price range and even a little above: the slightest friction is rendered with much finesse Obviously unknown amps to electric currents DDIS (by the way, I use a small jasmine takamine).
Argh, this amp with my guitar, I love it.
OVERALL OPINION
Chipotons. We'll have an AIM chorus, reverb other than "because it's spring when even a little cartoon or 60s but hey you clings! adjustment of the medium between the 2nd and an anti-feedback ... good, but rest assured, there's no issue larsen particular problem.
But I quibble really. This is a great amp, I trs, trs content: APRS many tests, I found the amp that suits me. Ms. Marshall's DDIS acoustics, I found them less convincing. The Roland trs are good but when even a little too expensive if you want the quality. The Fender and others do not seem to me not quite a game suited ar.
For intimate music for a game for a soft Retailer INTERPRETATION "pique" in need of amplification, which knows how to forget, something felt but not soft, or even a classic game, I find this choice quite IDAL.

Power announcement tration, and discuss ...: 85 Watts
Quality of the coating not terrible trend debonding.
UTILIZATION
Overall, relatively simple to use.
Nevertheless have, attention to feedback, especially with guiatres medium to low range.
SOUNDS
Its really means, made a noise, without more, even with a good scene guitar (Takamine 1300).
The 85 Watt ads are very poorly restitus: there are many casualties.
Too bad, because given the weight it would carry s'puiser for anything other than to hear falter.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had it too long and I'm too little was, and is also for sale.
This amp does not necessarly want to play electro, even when it ncessaire.

This amp does not necessarly want to play electro, even when it ncessaire.
This is not a true 85 Watts, I think it is better to buy a smaller power amp and get a better sound reproduction.
I think of the Marshall AS50D (formerly AS50R) which for a relatively reasonable prices (from memory, similar to Carlsbro) is much intressant, both in the quality of manufacturing, quality and sound tural power.
For my part, I Whereas the report qualitprix pretty mediocre.
It was my first amp, and he almost got dgouter of electro.
Well, after all, the tastes and colors ...
