I just put on my Martin OOO-1 particularly LR baggs Dual source system. I hesitated between a model by about B.Band and LR baggs dual source. I chose the dual source. It is composed of two microphones, one piezo and another situ in the body, rather between the 3rd 4 bar background, call micro foam. A wheel discreet under the rose lets you mix the two sources, another grate volume. The record is incredible: its very natural, balanced hear my Martin on a powerful system (PA) gnre in me a strange feeling, until I used it mainly for recording with a Static. Exceptional quality of prampli (ultra lightweight et al by Glue the bottom of the box in front of the rose window in order to choose the output (Mono - stro, lev gain or limit and phase). With the finger or rod quelquonque can change these give. Such a battery supplies together in a cot tui the prampli. To change the battery, I will have to relax ropes and running my hand the inside of the body via the rose!
The advantage? No modification of violin guitar, only a small perage to enlarge the diameter of the hole holding the tether strap and that becomes a jack.
An incredibly discreet system, lightweight and an impressive sound quality. The catch? the price! 410 euros in France + installation (at least 120 euros with a new rope games) is around 500-530 euros. So I bought my dual source via ebay USA, new, and in total with the installation + rglage handle and new ropes (Elexir) I dbours 290 euros! It's still a bit expensive but frankly, like a martin triple OOO-1, we can not put anything (When we think of very nice acoustic electro sell around 300 euros - but hey, can not reach the sound quality of this team martin dual source).
Today I am very happy with my investment, the quality is excellent, the guitar has not been processed and the dual source makes it all sound wonderful qualities of my triple OOO-1. A system I highly recommend anyone wishing to invest in a prampli + microphones for their acoustic guitar.
I read a very positive about the active I.Beam. The dual source is Superior in the sense that one can enter to win the two sources.
Very professional!
