I was looking for Active Monitors small compact at a reasonable price for my mobile recording studio (I often put at the disposal of small musical groups with limited means).

It is true that the frequency curve has two small flaws but nothing real handicap if you are not a race:
A / a trough in the lower midrange at 400 Hz about 3 to 4 dB
2 / other in the upper medium to 3.25 KHz 2 to 3db
Either you choose an equalizer in series with your output, or use the parametric output of your monitor if you have one. Then adjust the equalizers of the enclosure as follows:

The sound will be absolutely correct and balanced (the speaker position is important, but this is your ear to guide you)
Frankly if the image is observed, the sound is clear and no fatigue of the ear appeared to me.

OVERALL OPINION

After one month I am always delighted with this choice, because traveling with Génélec or Adam is not very careful unless you have the means to easily replace after an accident ...
Keep these small speakers even if you invest in the more expensive it will serve you a second listen, and for those who have limited means you can always work in decent conditions.
