The size, sufficient power, connectivity, the buying of the first dedicated monitor speakers, the desire to change a little Yamaha, the lack of space ... and reading forum for the use of a BR 1600 CD.
I do not use that for mixing and I begin to know them a little. The comparative soundtracks by other means at my disposal HIFI satisfy me completely.
SOUNDS
I am not a specialist of frequency curves ... However, I made a little adjustment once and for all by reducing a little low and increasing the treble a bit, and it suits me. The stereo image seems excellent, the sound is clear enough (I did not use more than 50% of volume) and the dynamics of live is respected for my taste.
OVERALL OPINION
I use them for 8 months. I like their special (before I mixais on an amp with two passive Yamaha enceuìintes in a larger room, etc. ...). I've heard many others (Yamaha M-Audio, Mackie, and others) among friends, in many configurations (direct output PC or Mac-specific table) and I find that Behringer not to blush.
I find the value very suitable (Thomann). I am also quite a fan of Behringer, which meets my needs without being too expensive.
Upon request, I can make you play tracks laid on the canvas for you to judge the final rendering.
With experience, and above all with the same wallet, yes, I do it again this choice. With more than beauicoup in, I think I can do better in the € 600-700 ...
