«  Damn good for multimedia »

Previously with a Kit 4.1 Altec Lansing, I was looking for something more practical and suitable to music. Not need power, but good sound without having to take the lead with 25 HP that I would not know where to place and few amenities: volume and front panel switches, headphone jack, etc..

I confess that I liked the look of their cheeks with Edirol wood. They looked serious and solid ...

SOUNDS

What can I say? It is multimedia and I really do not see how it could be used for mixing: there is no bottom, that's what bothered me most.

OVERALL OPINION

I have kept a few years before selling it to buy the Adam A5 monitors with either a template similar but are much more interesting his side. However, I regret all the multimedia functions: the headphone jack on the front which shunts listening for example, which can connect a second device in line with a dedicated volume. And then, finally have a single switch to turn on / off both speakers ...

In any case, it makes me really good use and have aged well, like the Edirol hardware in general. I recommend considering the price, although since the Studiophile AV40 M-Audio seemed to me far more relevant side of his ...
