Genelec adds to its 8000 Series the ultra compact bi-amplified 8010 monitors designed for small home studios, mobile studios or any room where space is critical.
With dimensions of 195 × 121 × 116mm and a unit weight of 1.5kg, the 8010 monitor hosts a 3” woofer, a 3/4” compression driver and a 2×25W Class D bi-amplifier with Intelligent Signal Sensing circuit that automatically puts the monitor on standby and can be bypassed if needed.
On the rear, you’ll find an XLR connector (no RCA or Jack), room compensation adjustments, vent and power button.
Genelec announces a frequency response of 67Hz – 25kHz (-6dB) / 74Hz – 20kHz (±2.5dB) and a max SPL of 96dB.
The Genelec 8010 have a universal power supply so you can take them anywhere with you and when you need more low-end, you can add the Genelec 7050 subwoofer to you setup.
