They are lowercase and ultra lgres (p'ttre too), we can carry around everywhere.
Even if the quality of materials leaves something to be desired (chipboard kind Ikea) assembly is satisfactory.
Good sensitivity (101dB continuous). RESPONSE in frquence intressante given the size of the enclosure.
They have a screw to adjust the gain of -30 + 6dB but no volume button faade ... damage.
Their price has baiss and becomes attractive for KRK.

SONORITS

The frquence curve parat me very neutral in any case without blemish major ... even if it's very medium. Indeed, there is nothing below 65Hz. As for the treble, they are not as-operating on Genelec 1031 or see even YAMAHA MSP5 but all there!
If the curve is not very tense Frequencies are rparties and very distinct. Even for a beginner, the EQ become a breeze!
The stereo image is also stable and accuracy of all.
Finally, if the dynamics of these small speakers is impressive enough for listening to proxi in a modest pice.

NOTICE GLOBAL

I would gladly 8 because I fell in love with these little gems, the 4-boomer "is particularly beautiful, efficient, and sensitive, the twiter lacks a bit of fishing but never aggressive.
I've compares with Genelec 1029 and YAMAHA MSP5. Less flattering, they seemed bcp prcises natural that Yamaha and all the same less quack that Genelec.
We achtera for their compactness without equivalent, convenient to all miking situations to take with them in the studio and small coutes; it is unfortunate that they do not protective grid facade as MSP5.
It's their natural love and prcis never tiring.
The compromises imposed by their small size will be accepted, including their rendering that altre fast high-volume ... good, I do not want to go deaf!
In conclusion, these speakers have the defects of their qualities but do not cheat (not like some) and that is all we ask of the monitors. I've had a little over a year, I think the complter a sub that will make me a final config chre enough, that is why I fall in note 7.

These Active monitors are pretty small and actually came with a piece of gear that I purchased a while back. I think with my audio interface and mic. It was some sort of a package that I had purchased on musicians friend. They are perfect for smaller home based studios though they arent the best monitors by KRK but they are very affordable and can still give you a great mix.


SOUNDS

The sound quality of them are pretty solid, they are above average to me. You will get a loud sound and a good mix in such little monitors it will blow your mind. As with most KRK monitors I expected the low end to be a little stronger but these are just so small I don’t think the cabinets can really produce a better boom. These monitors arent for you if you want to mix heaver low end sounds in them. They just cant handle it nor are they made for that. But everything else, mid’s and hi’s are pretty crips and come out pretty clean in any home environment. You can get a decent mix in this monitors but they are great to use if you are just creating music maybe even on the go because they are so small you can pack them up and take them with you if you need too.


OVERALL OPINION

Overall, most KRK monitors are really loud and have a lot of bass. But these are different then those because these are some of the smaller ones that I have seen from KRK. The KRK V4’s maybe some of the cheaper ones especially since it came in a package deal that I got a while ago. You don’t see higher end monitors going in packages that are cheap these days. If these are all you need size wise then go for it, but if you want something with more accurate sound to do a detailed mix in look into some of the higher end KRK monitors, they will cost more but they will give you a better sound in the long run.

I just fall for the V4, the pair purchased 700Euros.
I use them in Home Studio.
They are amplified, and possde of Neutrik (= PRO!), Small, really ca not take place, and yet the sound is!
They possdent technology V8 (I have not taken the V6 for this reason) = p'tits of Boomers tresss ca ... tape! a great balance.

I tried the speakers. I took the KRK V8 if I had enough money ...
Only default = yes ca forcment lack of Bass. So I have two big speakers that serve rotten trtau my desk. They are amplified, and receive a signal from SUB (<75Hz), so I dlivre infra-bass that do not V4 (V4 down the 65Hz).
The sound is super clear, I r-cost all my cds is great.

OVERALL OPINION

Buy a week ago.
I prfre so is their precision, clarity of sound, how the mix. becomes easy and enjoyable with no ear fatigue ...
Nothing to do with a range of speakers AlesisM1 type, or worse the Truth of behringer (which is really rotten to the passage => Acute bass-boost all pasty = yuck!)

I'm really happy to have to opt KRK PRO ... it sounds!

The KRK V4s are an active set of studio monitors on the smaller side. Since they are active monitors, they don't require an external power amp. Since they are on the smaller side, they are great for small or home studios or for someone who needs to move their studio around. They have an awesome look to them and are definitely a distinct brand of studio monitors.

SOUNDS

The sound quality of the KRK V4s is very good, especially considering how small they are, meaning that they give off a big sound for such a small size. The stereo image is definitely satisfactory and they give off a pretty accurate sound across the board. The dynamics are respected and they have a pretty good lo mid, middle, and high end response for the most part. Their main flaw comes in the fact that since they are so small, they don't have a great low end response in their sound. For this reason, they are probably best suited for monitoring or A/Bing, rather than mixing.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using the KRK V4 studio monitors for about two years and have found them to be a helpful set of monitors that are great for home studios. While I wouldn't recommend mixing on these, as the low end response is not enough for my taste, they are great for checking mixes or simply for monitoring on. The price of these is the best part as they are extremely affordable for home studio owners. KRK is known for making some great sets of studio monitors, and they KRK V4s are some of their most popular monitors. These aren't designed for professional mixing, or even close to it really, but they are great at what they do. Overall, these are worth a look for home studio owners.
