J admits to pre-selected brand KRK initially because of the aura of the mark in the middle pro, c the Leica is a bit of listening, stripped of all products gadjet and doing only what is asked without overlay s in any color spectrum.
In addition to her that I will describe in the next paragraph, I find them very beautiful (it's not counted), but they have something nobody talks about but very convenient, they put themselves to sleep after 20 minutes of inactivity, c is con but few other brand offers this! M so I questioned myself on their ability to reproduce enough bass in the store it seemed quite accurate, at home I have to admit that in the configuration of my room, it s the perfect approach.

OVERALL OPINION

J've listened to the Fostex PM 1, c is true that they are not bad, I have found the bass a little thundering at times, but c is a good speaker, very large it says! The Dynaudio bma 5 "are a little disappointing j I found the bass a little bizzar, as if there was an integrated loudness to compensate for the 5 "! They were the true concurrent with my KRK, but as I listened to that store, I'll never know if one is better than the other.

I believe in the neutrality of the speaker means exactly what is mdiocre and also what is a little too well (whoring studio).
"Stereo Image" is not IDAL, the virtual center is a bit elusive.
These are speakers of "control" it is not forcment trs costs with a rewarding, if you like the sound enjoyable, it is correct fawn subjective and running.
The momentum seems perfect, there is much of the reserved.

OVERALL OPINION

I use them since trs short time, but I feel confident, I regret not having the analytical aspect, surgical, dmasqueur I've heard with other System. But n'tait not the same price and not for the same purpose. So no regrets for having made that choice. I'm REALLY pleased.

I will especially compared to only monitorings I had before KRK: the Fostex PM-1.
- The KRK have two types of limiters, switchable by a switch: The first position activates a red LED limited to cases where there may need to lower earnings, the second active hard-limiter.
- Entree XLR combo jack
- No filter
- And no different settings for the HP and treble, only one main gain setting.
- Small particularity the entire surface of the underside is covered with slip resistant.

I use them to orient the creation of techno song, on PC and RS7000 (Live 6), also corrected for live recordings.

SOUNDS

I find his pregnant neutral, certainly much more accurate than the PM-1 in the lower spectrum. The PM-1 spit more bass than the KRK it so that enough already, but much more blurred.
The midrange and treble are clear.
The PM-1 tended to slightly colored / improved the sound, not the KRK. (If one day I buy the high end, I would say certainly the same KRK ...)

OVERALL OPINION

I use them for several months and am very happy.
The design is very successful even if our ears do not care.
A good quality price, if I had to choose again, I repeat them.
I might be seen as buying a KRK sub if the size of my next studio allows me.

CLipping warning light up front. Powered speakers. db gain switch and overall easy connectability to balance XLR or plug wires.

SOUNDS

The sound quality is crystal clear for it's high's and mids. Very flat response and no muddiness in the lows. If you want to hear the real low sounds then a sub that KRK makes would be a nice addition.

OVERALL OPINION

Quality is top notch

Love it. Sound is much cleaner than the Rokits but if price is also a factor then the V4's may be an option.
