Excellent
Connected to a fast track pro, under Protools M-Powere for the normal listening via itunes, a treat!
SOUNDS
I will not judge what I do not understand yet ... But after 20 years of guitar we develop a minimum ear so yeah honestly at this price the quality is enormous. Given the class and I saw what are the other prices compared to the kits or multimedia style labtex or altec ... almost the same price. So here I say NO! For me it is far ahead of all!
Sound clarity, good stereo, you hear everything better.
I find that it lacks the spectrum ... At least for my use the final result is quite sufficient.
And for those who find no bass, it's like always comparing with other products in larger sizes or can we answer objectively? For this size, budget, and to mixing at home of course that's enough. (Even without the bass boost which I think is only useful to check that the end of a composite mix does not bleed too much into the low end ...)
OVERALL OPINION
If you are like me you have a tight budget and want to make small mix at home for personal use then go for it! Of course this is not a pro's monitors, but the price is there, the quality is downright huge, and the power level is sufficient enough for a small home studio.
