Best value: Excellent
I needed something better than my old 2.1 system on trust for the sound of my PC.
Usage:
listen to music, make some music (I record with my Korg Electribe EMX)
watch movies a little, play games a little.
what motivated the choice:
received good reviews on Audiofanzine,
good value for money, the mesh guards missing on the real monitoring speakers, practical
when children at home tend to touch everything, and push on everything ... gloups

SOUNDS

The sound is really much better than my old system, no comparison.
I rediscovered my music.
I also discovered that some of my recordings are really bad.
The stereo is precise.
But even if the bass is crisp and clear, (without using the "bass boost" button
and without sticking to the wall, watch the vent on the back)
I find they lack a little depth.
Thereafter I am thinking to try to find a subwoofer that can be integrated into the system.
I said that the bass is still pretty good for speakers this size,
and they are sufficient in most cases. the sound of a bass is well rendered, it is clear
precise, it's beautiful. (I could not go back to my old 2.1!!)
but it lacks a bit for the big kick drums.

OVERALL OPINION

I have been using them only recently, and I'm pretty happy, except for one small problem:
ATTENTION: These speakers suffer from a factory default that prove a little embarrassing on your recordings,
if you make a little music.
with the headphones plugged in, a residual sound happens by the tweeter speakers!
it is this feature that I like least.
Note also that the mini jack - RCA provided is of poor quality. I replaced the first connection.

the feature I like most are the mesh protection guards for the reasons already mentioned, as I do not have a
private studio.
Their look is nice, they are compact, it does not "toc" and inspires confidence. MDF cabinet with good, well-equipped in connection with this particular entry in small facade.
Buttons in front are as well a god practice, these speakers, without pretending to be real monitors,
integrate seamlessly with any PC system.

Despite the small flaws, the price / quality ratio seems correct.
I think, however, keep them, but if it's true monitor you want, save another 50 euros
and buy for example the Fostexs.
