I had intended to change the system sound of my PC, I had the Logitech X-530, a 5.1 kit, entry-level and I wanted to go to something heavier, have better sound and neutral for video editing, I was looking for precision, not power ... So I turned to M-Audio Studiophile AV40 ...
SOUNDS
At the sound, the first listen was a slap negative: my old Logitech me so used to a lower surplus in the end I was disappointed ...
It took me one week to accustom my ear to the radical change ...
I also rediscovered my favorite songs, every detail is audible, a treat, especially for the concert videos ... The stereo image is good frankly, unbeatable in this price range ...
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for almost a month now, and it's true that I could not part with it: board on a PC kit would be painful (I noticed reconnecting my old Logitech)
I like the sound quality although the lack of bass is present in movies and games ...
The value for money is just "good" but do not break legs 3 a duck ...
With experience, I would do this choice, but ...
WARNING: The passage of a sound system with subwoofer these speakers may be in pain for those who love bass!
